Try Mobileuncle_Tools_20140111v2.9.9_331.apk to flash your Custom CWM recovery. The recovery you're using is the stock recovery. So flash custom recovery then you'll see options for ROM backup and others

ReplyDeletePorting means you need to combine multiple ROMs. Collect drivers and some required files from another phone's ROM which has the similar specification means GPU, Chipset and processor. And these porting things are kinda difficult. It would be easy for Android app developers.
DeleteI can't give you much information because you'll need to learn a very big chapter. Try searching google. If you can find a automatic ROM porting software (I was unable to find one) then it will be easy-peasy-lemon-squeeze.
Okey now I know something about porting and I am also trying to port a rom manually by copying files from my stock rom to ported rom.

DeleteGAPPS isn't a ROM. GAPPS contains Google Play Store, Gmail, Youtube, Google Search etc. You don't need to port them. If your current ported ROM doesn't have these google apps then try install from zip.
Gp free net with simple server working but sometime download speed comes down to 0 kbps.After sometime it again moves up to good speed.But it wastes so much time.

DeleteI am pretty sure. And I know that it was fine when a few thousand users were using gpwap trick. But as day by day more free net users are coming and causing GP's server overload. So they decided to interrupt free net user's connection to prevent overload. And they did. I said the limit has set on 10.128.1.2 because this proxy only works with gpwap and gpmms apn but not gpinternet.
Activate gpinternet profile then load 0.facebook.com as have a look at the loading speed. Then don't run simple server. Just switch back to gpwap profile then set your browser's proxy to 10.128.1.2:8080 then try to load 0.facebook.com then you'll understand what I was talking about.

And as popular sites (google) and blogs are providing the tricks then how come they don't know anything about it. It's their marketing policy (Providing free net). There is no operator like GP provides PC free net. And that's the why millions of people use GP. You already noticed that browsing speed is slow. But download is fast. Their intelligent system saves files on their hard disk if a file downloaded several times. And next time when users wants to download that same file again then GP can give then freely from their local server. And they doesn't need to pay for this usage.

To Download almost all paid apps for free: Go to m.aptoide.com search your app's name using their search box. Then Go to the app. Click install. A file will be downloaded just open that file using notepad. Then look closely there you'll find your paid app's direct download link. Just use any download manager to download that.

ReplyDeleteNope. I think there is no custom ROMs for symphony w66 is currently available. But Walton Primo E2's ROM can be ported for this phone. There are sister devices with same MTK 6572 chipset.
DeleteIf you do have a boot.img of w66 then you can download Primo E2's custom rom from their official forum and just replace the boot.img within the zipped custom ROM. And if you don't have any boot.img for w66 then generate one using MTK droid tool.
Why cant we use different kernel in a phone instead of stock kernel? I flashed Mediatek best battary saving,swap supported kernel in w35. As a result my phone did not boot up again. The light of my phone was twinkeling.

You can port any ROM of MTK devices for another. I will write a article about porting ROMs very soon. And by following that you can also port your own ROM (like your big brother) within 5 minutes.

Copy following whole folders (From the stock ROM of your device to another MTK device's ROM)
system > etc > firmware
system > lib > modules
system > usr > keylayout > generic.kl (the file only. not whole folder)
And at last just copy the boot.img from any of your custom ROMs

DeleteCreate and activate your net profile in Android. Then go to Settings > More.. > Tethering & portable hotspot > USB tethering (tap to check after connecting your Android to PC via USB)

DeleteWhatever you can't make working updater script until you become a programmer. But you can copy meta.inf folder from any ROM of any MTK device. Just delete your own ROM's meta.inf folder and copy another meta.inf folder to get a working updater script.
I tried but no result. No rom installed! And the META.INF was produced by android kitchen.

1 KB/s = 8 kbps. KB/s and kbps isn't the same bro. You also said that your modem showing 100 kbps that means you'll get 12.5 KB/s speed at browsing and download. In 3G you'll get 900 kbps in modem and then download speed will be 100 KB/s. I hope you get it now.
But it seems that you're not using 3G. So it's very possible to get low speed. First activate 3G package then follow Keep Refreshing trick to download more then 150 MB per hour. And in night you'll get 300 MB per hour.

ReplyDeleteTry Uc browser mini! It is fast and you can browse a page in normal style and android style also by turning the speed mod on-off. Operamini is good but you cant browse operamini in android style. As a result you will suffer a lot to download files from file sharing site.

But it is costly and operamini is a very data saving browser. Uc browser mini also.

If you use operamini it will show like this. But if you try built-in or any other browser which supports android style browsing it will take you to play store app in your phone and will show the app in play store.

you're welcome. You need paid internet because our ISP doesn't allows to use any site except their free sites. And as Google Map or weather widgets can't be updated with free domains because they use their own third party server. Not GP's free one. So

ReplyDeleteI rooted my w35 by kingoroot. I give you sureity that it will 100% work. Just you need kingoroot in your pc download it from www.kingosoft.com. Enable usb debbuging and connect it to your pc. You will get usb debbuging option setting>developer option>usb debbuging. Now open kingoroot and wait for connecting to the server. It will need internet connection. After connecting to server it will show root button. Click it and wait to finish. Then rebbot your phone. If it does not work for you then I will tell you TWRP root method. Try it first.

That's not a problem bro. That's very normal. When you enable data connection. You device sends connect internet connection request to ISP and that takes time.

In,My phone memory, there is a folder name DCIM.....Though i delete it,it comes again.....it takes 407.8MB.....

ReplyDeleteKingoroot needs a good net connection. There are two offline methods. 1) TWRP root method 2)Root master. TWRP root method is safe but root master method is unsafe and can brick your phone. Tell your choice.

Oh bro, paid internet means you can't use free internet to get lyric. You have to activate any package with sufficient MB.
DeleteJava script is a dynamic language. It lets you do some advanced things. And By using full featured browsers like Next browser, Dolphin Browser, UC Browser HD etc you can skip confirming it. Because they supports javascript.
And sometimes some web sites asks for java script confirmation to get your input. You have to read the confirm dialogue then choose whether to confirm or deny.

If Opera mini was OK before then you might have changed some settings. So revert back to default uninstall and install it again.
